TDI Technical Training Programs

Advanced Nitrox
Examines the use of 21% - 100% nitrox for dives to a depth of 130ft. The objective is to train divers in the benefits, hazards and proper procedures for utilizing mixes up to 100% oxygen for no decompressions diving. 4 training dives.

Decompression Procedures

Examines the theory, methods and procedures for planned staged decompression diving. The objective is to train divers how to plan and conduct a standard staged decompression dive not exceeding 150ft. The most common equipment requirements, set-up, decompression techniques and available gases are discussed. 4 training dives.

Advanced Nitrox/Decompression Procedures Combined
6 training dives

Extended Range
Provides the training and experience required to safely utilize air for dives up to 180ft. that require staged decompression procedures utilizing nitrox and oxygen for decompression. 6 training dives/travel required

Cavern/Overhead Environment
This course is designed to develop the entry-level skills and theory for cavern and overhead environments within the limits of light penetration. The course outlines specific hazards associated with cave diving, but is not intended to provide instruction for cave diving environments.

Intro Cave
This course is an introduction to the basic principles of cave diving with a single cylinder. This is the 2nd level in the development of safe techniques for cave diving, building on the Cavern course.

Full Cave
The 3rd stage of training in the series of TDI cave diver development. Advanced cave dive planning, the execution of different types of cave systems and scenarios cave divers encounter are presented.

Entry-level Trimix
Trains divers to competently utilize breathing gases containing helium for dives to a depth of 200ft. that require staged decompression using nitrox and oxygen.

Advanced Trimix
Trains divers to competently utilize breathing gases containing helium for dives that require staged decompression using nitrox and oxygen to a depth of 300ft.

Nitrox Gas Blender

Trains candidates in the proper technique, equipment and hazards involved in blending nitrox for recreational scuba.

Some programs may require travel to appropriate training sites. Travel, equipment, and other miscellanious costs are not included.
