PADI Open Water Diver

Scuba diving is FUN!  Join the Adventure Scuba Instructors and Assistants over two full weekends to learn scuba skills and safety.  The PADI Open Water Diver course teaches student divers the fundamental knowledge and skills they need to dive with a buddy, independent of supervision. Through a combination of independent study, classroom training, confined water training (pool) and open water training, divers will earn the PADI Open Water Diver certification card, the most recognized certification credential in the world. 

You can complete the classroom training portion of your PADI certification at your own pace anytime, anywhere through PADI elearning for an additional charge.  Just click on the elearning icon.
Or you can complete the classroom training portion that includes Instructor elaborations at Adventure Scuba. The choice is yours!   The course fee of $315 include all materials, use of scuba equipment (including wetsuit), classroom, pool, and open water training, and PADI processing fees. 

The PADI Open Water Diver certification card qualifies you to:

• Dive independently while applying the knowledge and skills you learn in this course, within the limits of your training and experience.
• Procure air fills, scuba equipment and other dive services.
• Plan, conduct and log open water no stop (no decompression) dives when equipped properly and accompanied by a buddy in conditions with which you have training and/or experience.
• Continue your diver training with the Advanced Open Water course and/or PADI Specialty courses.

Choose the PADI Open Water Diver course that best fits your schedule.  We offer convenient weekend courses.  Our weekend courses meet from 6:30p - 10:00p Friday nights, Saturday and Sunday from 9:00am - 5:00pm.  (Time could vary depending upon the class.)   The Open Water training dives are conducted at Clear Springs Scuba Park (www.clearspringsscubapark.com) on weekends, Saturday and Sunday from 8:30 AM - ?  (times will vary depending upon the number of dives completed on Saturday.)  If you find our schedule isn't convenient for you, please call Adventure Scuba at 972.423.3483 to arrange for private scuba certification.
