Boy Scouts Merit Badge Programs

The BSA Scuba Merit Badge

The Boy Scouts of America (BSA) is one of the nation's largest and most prominent youth development organizations with over 4.5 million scouts of varying age levels in the U.S.  Many of these youths are eager to learn the sport of scuba diving especially with the recent approval by BSA to develop a Scuba Merit Badge.  Adventure Scuba has been certifying scouts from the Venture Crews for years in preparation for Sea Base programs, www.bsaseabase.org.  The PADI Open Water and Jr. Open Water Diver Courses are the perfect fit for the BSA Scuba Merit Badge.  We have a certified Merit Badge Counselor on staff who will act as the liason between Adventure Scuba and the appropriate Troop, Venture Crew or Den Leader to ensure all requirements are met by the participants.  Upon completion, the Scouts will have earned the PADI Open Water Diver certification and the BSA Scuba Merit Badge, a truly elite accomplishment!!!

Other BSA Merit Badge Opportunities

In addition to the BSA Scuba Merit Badge, Adventure Scuba also conducts programs eligible for the BSA Swimming Badge, First Aid Badge and Snorkeling/Skin Diving Badge.  These programs are 1-day programs that further the scouts' watermanship skills and also teaches them First Aid/CPR through PADI's Emergency First Response programs.
