Rise Adventures

We're a non-profit organization dedicated to help persons with physical challenges gain independence through a learning experience in adaptive outdoor adventures and sporting programs.  Adventure Scuba has teamed up with Rise Adventures by offering scuba diving certifications for divers with prise adventures logohysical challenges.  We also offer Dive Buddy certifications.  Now families and friends can dive together any where in the world! 

 

DAN - Divers Alert Network

Divers Alert Network is a non-profit organization that provides emergency medical advice and assistance for scuba diving injuries, and underwrites a wide range of research, education and training programs that promote safe diving.  DAN is supported by more than 260,000 scuba divers worldwide.  In association with Duke University, DAN staffs a 24 hour Diving Emergency Hotline available from anywhere in the world for dive accidents and provides emergency assistance and evacuation, as well as dive accident insurance.  Adventure Scuba strongly recommends all scuba divers become a member of Divers Alert Network.  Click the logo below for more information.

Plano Sports Authority

The Plano Sports Authority was founded as a non-profit agency when individual sports leagues incorporated to form one administrative youth sports organization. It provides quality year-round recreational sports leagues and activities to all boys and girls who live within the Plano Independent School District and surrounding areas.  Adventure Scuba has partnered with PSA to offer summer scuba camps for kids ages 8-12.  The PADI Seal Team and Jr. Open Water camps are offered several times each summer.  Click on the logo or www.psaplano.org for more information.                                                                                                                                      

Clear Springs Scuba Park

Clear Springs is a 22 acre spring fed lake located just outside Terrell, Texas that offers clear water and a diverse sampling of freshwater marine life.  Bass, catfish, prawn, turtles and a wide variety of vegetation make up the residents of the rock quarry.  Bottom topography mainly consists of large rock formations and boulders, allowing the visibility to reach 35 feet on good diving days.  Adventure Scuba has our own private training area complete with large covered cabana, barbeque grill and picnic tables, floating dock for easy entries and exits, and a training platform at 22'.  Our 20' equipment locker houses ample sets of gear on-site so our divers in training don't have to lug 25 lbs worth of gear during the training weekends. Dive Training Magazine

Dive Training Magazine is diving's education based magazine for new divers, experienced divers pursuing continuing diver education, their instructors and those who own and operate dive centers.  The magazine and website are educational resources that address a wide range of diving subjects to help divers understand diver training, scuba equipment, dive travel and all aspects of scuba diving.  The magazine of choice among instructors.
